Code of Practice and Terms and Conditions

The instructor has no right to change your test without you permission, but should the instructor feel you are not ready they will advise you in good time if the test date needs to be rearranged.
Should the instructor feel your driving is unsafe and may in danger the examiner and the general pupil and your driving is not to at least test standard they can refuse the use of their car for the practical test.
Should you be unfit or unable to take your test Leader School of Driving or your instructor accepts no responsibility for the loss of test fees. Should you fail to arrive at the correct test centre at the correct time and date given this is also your responsibility.
Should your instructor be unavailable for the test we will endeavour to find a replacement. If we cannot find a replacement, the instructor will pay for the re-test.
We cannot guarantee you to pass your test but your instructor should provide you with good sound honest advice on whether you are ready for the practical test.
The instructor should act in a professional manner at all times and should always treat the student with respect at all times
The instructor should avoid physical contact unless in an emergency or during the normal course of greeting.
The instructor should not give less than the minimum of one hours tuition or less than the time charged by the instructor. i.e. if you pay for 90 minutes tuition you should receive 90 minutes tuition.
The instructor will not have more than one student in the car at one time. For training purposes trainee instructors may need to watch but not participate during your lesson. They will not be watching you but watching the other instructor.
The instructor must honor the half price lesson when you refer a friend or family. This will be given on the day of your test. A maximum of 4 half price lesson can be accumulated. Should your friend or family not complete at least 5 hours of tuition then we cannot honor the half priced lesson. The referral will still receive a free lesson.
Your free lesson will be given to you on your 5th lesson. This is due to people booking the free lesson then canceling further tuition.

Courses

Pre booked courses are a minimum of a hour and a half unless the instructor agrees.
The courses are none refundable. Should any problems arise please see the grievance procedure.
Should you cancel more than once without 48 hours notice, the instructor will then charge you for the cancelled lesson.
the same applies for the instructor. Should they cancel on you more than once without 48 hours notice you will be entitled to a replacement lesson.
If any problems are encountered with your instructor during the course of lessons please refer to the grievance procedure.
Courses should be completed within a 3 month period were possible
Courses need to be paid in full at the beginning of the course.
Only a limited amount of cancellations will be tolerated on the guaranteed pass course before further charges will be applied

Grievance Procedure

Should any problems no matter how small arise or you become unhappy please follow these simple steps. We will always try to resolve the problem. Please do not suffer in silence.

Please contact your instructor. Please explain as clearly as you can.
If you feel you cannot speak to your instructor please contact us by phone, email or in writing. (See booklet, or below, or click here).
If we are unable to resolve the problem immediately, we will then send you a complaints form. This form should be completed and posted back to us. We will then endeavour to resolve the problem.
