Leader School of Driving Instructor Training provides full "pay as you go" driver training courses for parts 1, 2 & 3 of the Driving Standards Agency Tests.

Courses will be tailored around your current job, enabling you to continue to work during  training, so no loss of valuable income.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you will need to pass all three separate tests with in a 2 year time frame. 

Part 1:
A multiple choice theory test and a computer based hazard perception test.

Part 2:
A practical driving test to a high standard max of 6 minor faults.

Part 3:
The ability to teach,  the instructor part of the test.

We suggest it usually takes a minimum of 10 hours for the part 2 training, more hours here will make the practical test easy.

At least 40 hours for part 3 and then an additional 20 hours if going on a trainee licence. 

Some candidates take less time on part 2 training, and continue by not going onto a trainee licence thereby reducing costs significantly. Working on 50 hours at £27.50 ph the cost of training in car is £1375. Add on a further £312 for one attempt at each test and you are looking at £1687. This is the suggested minimum for any calculations you are making. We offer an up front package option of £1550 which includes 50 hours of training and one attempt at each test. Any additional training hours taken will be charged at £27.50 ph.

Please note, once part two training is started, any cancelled or unused training will be refunded at 50% of value.
